What we fix

Four problems that cost you jobs, and what we do about each

If any of these sound like your week, we can help. Each one links to the details.

Problem 1

“I miss calls when I'm on a job.”

What happens now
You're under a sink, on a roof, or it's after hours. The phone rings and nobody picks up. Most people don't leave a voicemail. They call the next company on the list.
What we do
We text back every missed call within seconds. After hours, an automated assistant answers the phone and takes the details. You get the job by text.
What changes for you
More of the calls you already get turn into booked jobs, and nobody has to sit by the phone.
How we fix it
Problem 2

“People can't find me on Google.”

What happens now
Someone nearby searches for what you do. Google shows three businesses on the map, and you're not one of them. Or you are, with a handful of old reviews and a website that crawls on a phone.
What we do
We fix your Google profile and keep it busy, ask every customer for a review, put your listings right, and build you a fast website if you need one.
What changes for you
More people nearby find you, trust what they see, and call.
How we fix it
Problem 3

“My evenings go to paperwork.”

What happens now
You finish the last job, then start the second shift: estimates, invoices, tomorrow's schedule, and texting customers back. It eats your evenings, and things still slip.
What we do
One place for your customers, schedule, estimates, invoices and payments, with the busywork done for you. You approve from your phone.
What changes for you
Your evenings back, and customers who can pay you from their phone the day the job is done.
How we fix it
Problem 4

“Quotes go quiet and bills go unpaid.”

What happens now
You send a quote and never hear back. Nobody has time to follow up, so the job goes to whoever did. Meanwhile finished jobs sit unpaid for weeks, and asking feels awkward.
What we do
Polite follow-ups go out on their own, in your words, and stop as soon as the customer answers.
What changes for you
Fewer quotes go cold, and you stop chasing people for money yourself.

After hours

When you can't pick up, the call still gets answered

With Front Office, an automated assistant answers the calls you can't take. It says it's an automated assistant at the start of every call, takes the details, and texts them to you.

  1. You can't get to the phone

You're on a job, or it's 10pm. The call rings out, just like today.

  2. The automated assistant answers

In your business's name. It says it's automated, and asks what's wrong, where, and the best number to call back.

  3. Emergencies come straight to you

A burst pipe is put through to your on-call phone. A gas smell gets told to leave and call 911 first.

  4. You get the job by text

A short text with the problem, the address and when they're free. Call back and book it.

Questions

What owners ask us first

Will my customers know it's automated?

Yes. When the automated assistant answers a call, it says so at the start of every call. Texts come from your business, and if anyone asks whether they’re talking to a person, they get the truth.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. With most carriers you forward only the calls you don’t answer, so your number, your Google listing and your business cards all stay the same.

Do I have to learn new software?

Not to start. On Online Presence you change nothing: we do the work and you approve by text. Front Office puts your jobs, estimates and invoices in one app, and we move your customers in and show you around.

What happens when something is urgent?

Urgent messages skip the questions and go straight to you, at any hour. If something sounds dangerous, like a gas smell, the customer is told to get to safety and call for help first.

Is there a contract?

Online Presence and Front Office come on a 6-month term with no setup fee, and the Perpetual Workforce plan on a 12-month term. Rather go month to month? You can, with a one-time setup fee.

What does it cost?

There are three plans, from Online Presence to the Perpetual Workforce plan, all on our pricing page. The free audit tells you which one fixes your biggest problem first.

Find out where you're losing jobs

Start with a free audit. You'll see what's working, what isn't, and what we'd fix first.
